About Cyntia
My name is Cyntia, and I’ve recently completed my teacher training, during which I taught students from KS3 to KS5. This gave me valuable experience working with a wide range of ages and abilities. I have particular experience with the WJEC exam board, but I’m more than happy to work with you on whichever exam board you’re studying. Most importantly, I believe English can be genuinely enjoyable. My aim is to make lessons engaging, accessible and tailored to you.
I enjoy teaching because I take immense satisfaction in getting students where they need to be.

No two students need exactly the same thing from a lesson. You might need to revisit a specific character or theme, such as Dogberry’s use of humour in Much Ado About Nothing, whilst another student might need to strengthen the basics of structuring a PEEL paragraph.
My lessons are designed around where you are now and where you want to get to. We’ll identify your weaker areas, build on what you already do well, and keep track of your progress along the way, with clear goals in mind.
I offer lessons for students at all levels across KS3, KS4 and KS5. Whether you need occasional support before an exam or regular lessons throughout the year, we can find an approach that works for you.
