I approach each topic through illustration. I like to show multiple examples of any new concept and allow the student to use their own mind and logic to puzzle out the meaning, explanation, and reasoning behind the new idea. A person will grow faster and further when their own mind is stimulated to come to an answer, rather than fed information.
I graduated magna cum laude from NYU in 2011 where I spent one year tutoring high school students with America Reads America Counts. Since then I have taught dance to both adults and children; including independent clients, members of my own dance team, and in the schools through the Center for Arts Education spanning more than 10 years. Today I still actively teach dance as well as homeschool my young daughter in all subjects.
