I am an NYU graduate of English Literature and Philosophy, graduating summa cum laude 4.0 with post-graduate experience in middle and high school classrooms. My students champion my personal and dedicated approach that comes from a place of passion and love of the arts.

I am a believer in concepts first, application second. In other words, to read like a scholar requires understanding the concepts that make literature 'literature!'
My lesson plan begins with the student: tell me what you are trying to improve in and we move from there, beginning with the concepts and then working on application.
I am here to help my students understand, which requires communication, patience, and, more important than anything else, a judgment free zone. We will learn and we will learn together.
