About Hardeep
I spent more than a decade as a lecturer in English Literature at S S Mota Singh School (INDIA). I graduated from University of Delhi with a First-Class Bachelor’s Degree and a prize for the Student of the Year. I also received two Master’s Degrees with Distinction from Himachal University and CCS University from India. I have been a High School English Literature and Composition Teacher since 2010. I received outstanding feedback from students and colleagues, and have had successful results with my private students since focusing on tuition. If you're enthralled by your subject and wish to delve more deeply into its intricacies, beyond the bounds of learning outcomes and assessment, then I can cultivate and direct your passion. If you want to improve your critical or creative writing, I can help you articulate your vision and present it according to high standards; along the way. For any given first session I like to get to know the student, find out where they're at in their course of study, and see what their current working methods are like. An outline of what is covered: 1. Speaking, vocabulary, pronunciation and expression 2. Creative and academic writing 3. Grammar rules and topics- tenses, direct-indirect, reported speech, active-passive, subject-verb agreement etc 4. Reading Comprehension 5. Literature- prose and poetry 6. Fluency

I am an English and Economics teacher with more than 16 years' experience teaching English, Economics, Punjabi, and Hindi in Canada and India. I have experience with small children from pre-school and extensive experience with adults. For the past years, I have been teaching English at Toronto District School Board and have a wide range of experience from exam preparation to academic preparation. I have just come back to Canada after teaching English at S S Mota Singh School in New Delhi, India to children and adults for the past sixteen years. BEd- Bachelors of Education, MEd- Masters of Education- Language and Literacy Education, MA-Master of Arts-English, ABQ Course(York University), OCT Certification in Junior and Intermediate qualification. I am currently teaching English(Reading, Writing and Listening) to senior student in CI/ALC in Burnhamthorpe Adult Learning Centre.
