About Camilo
I grew up with a deep passion for soccer, playing at a semi-professional level with Barcelona SC, one of the biggest soccer teams in Ecuador. During my school years, I was not only a dedicated player but also a leader, guiding my high school team through competitive leagues and helping build a strong culture of discipline and teamwork.
Now based in Charlotte, I work as a flight instructor, a role that has strengthened my ability to teach, mentor, and share knowledge with patience and clarity. Just as I train pilots to succeed in the air, I’m committed to helping young athletes develop their skills, discipline, and confidence on the field.
Outside of coaching, I am an active athlete myself—training daily and preparing for international HYROX competitions while also running long-distance races. This lifestyle of discipline, fitness, and perseverance is the same mindset I want to pass on to my students.
Through soccer training, my mission is to share my experiences, knowledge, and passion for the game—helping players improve technically, grow mentally, and discover the joy of playing with purpose.

As a flight instructor, I’ve learned that the best way to teach is through clarity, structure, and intensity—and I bring that same approach to soccer. Just like in aviation, where every skill is built step by step, soccer training requires discipline, repetition, and focus.
My method is simple: learn by doing. Through high-energy exercises and purposeful drills, players not only improve their technical abilities but also build confidence, discipline, and a love for the game.
