About Ranjana

I am Ranj and I have passion to teach which is tailored to your child on a one to one basis.
My patience and strategy helps each child to become the best version of themselves.
The subjects I teach are
-Eleven Plus
-KS2 SATS
- KS3 English &Maths
- GCSE English and Maths

About the lesson

I have 25 years experience as a tutor,

I teach on a one to one basis online or face to face, where I teach the subject that is tailored to your child's ability,

My lessons are 2 hrs, which covers homeworks, assessments and topic teaching. Additional homework given are 10-15 vocabs per week following by an assessment,

I encourage my students to do lots of reading and creative writing tasks which are set during lessons or for homework.
With my teaching techniques, i build strong relatationships with student, resulting to greater confidence to deal with challenges,
My teaching techniques covers a wide ability of students such as autism and other language difficulties.

I print worksheets which are covered during lessons or for homework.
The homeworks are to be completed approx 45 minutes per day, followed by monthly assessments,

In a relaxed environment, students enjoy my lessons as well as having regular breaks throughout the lessons.

Every child is different and therefore I plan my lessons tailored to their needs which therefore results to huge improvements at school and on their school reports.

Each student is encouraged to read and are set reading tasks weekly, their inferencing and vocabulary skills improve.
During my maths lessons, different methods for one subject are taught as well as focusing on lots of past paper questions (especially for GCSE).
If my students are taking their 11 plus exams, they are prepared two years in advance and the topic areas covered are English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, Non Verbal Reasoning, Reading and Vocabulary.
