My name is Belinda. I am a mother, a (mature) university student, a home educator and a tutor. I have had a passion for reading and writing since I was old enough to pick up a book. With my daughter, that has since translated to a passion for sharing knowledge and helping others learn.

As a tutor, my approach to helping students with English largely focuses on phonic instruction - teaching students the relationships between the letters of written language and the sounds of spoken language.
I believe in positive reinforcement when it comes to learning, and have found that acknowledgement of a students' efforts and participation go a long way to building their confidence and desire to learn more.
I am a current tutor in NSW, tutoring primary school age children up to year 6.
A lesson would go for 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on student/parent preference.
