About Amelia
I am a passionate and patient tutor with a strong interest in behavioural and educational psychology, which informs the way I support and engage learners. I am particularly motivated by helping young people build confidence, develop a positive relationship with learning, and reach their full academic potential. I find teaching extremely rewarding and enjoy creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. My approach is calm, understanding, and learner-focused. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, travelling, and exploring different cuisines. I’m also a proud Arsenal supporter!

My lessons are fully tailored to each individual learner, taking into account their strengths, needs, and learning style. Lessons are guided by clear, well-structured PowerPoint presentations, with opportunities throughout for active participation and knowledge consolidation. Each session follows a clear lesson structure and schedule, ensuring learning objectives are transparent and progress is purposeful. I encourage students to ask questions freely, reflect on their own learning, and develop self-evaluation skills to build confidence, independence, and academic resilience.
