About Daniel
Hello- I am Daniel and I am currently 20 years-old. I have a guaranteed place at Oxford for Sep 2021 and for the last two years since leaving school, I have been working at Sherborne School. This has given myself much experience in working with young people and also working in education and therefore this summer I would like to teach so as to gain experience in this field. I know that studying for anything can be tough, especially when not everything in the subject is clear, and so I should very much like to help those whose progress in studying is being hindered.

In my lessons the content will be led and tailored to the individual student, so if the student has any particular areas he/she wishes to cover those areas will receive particular attention. In a typical lesson I will start by reviewing some work/ the tutee has given me. From there we can discuss what weaknesses there are and from that point I will teach and guide the tutee accordingly so that those weaknesses are overcome with examples, exercises etc. These lessons will typically last 45 minutes, but times may be variable.
I have a CELTA qualification for teaching English as a Foreign Language, with much experience of teaching from the intensive CELTA course. I can teach English from levels A1 to C1 at any age.
I also have a Organ Diploma as well as an A* in Music A-Level, which gives me much grounding from which to teach Music Theory up to Grade 5 as well as Organ and Piano Grade 5.
My Politics and History A-Levels have also given me much grounding from which to guide essay-writing. I can teach Music and Essay-Writing to any young person (U18).
