About Clara

My name is Clara, and I am an educator with a doctoral-level academic background and extensive experience in teaching and curriculum development. I have worked in higher education as well as in elementary education, supporting students through structured, thoughtful, and research-informed learning approaches.

I specialize in teaching Spanish to elementary students, focusing on reading, writing, and strong language foundations that support academic growth and confidence. My academic training allows me to design lessons that are clear, well-organized, and adapted to each child’s learning needs.

I am known for my patient, professional, and supportive teaching style, as well as for maintaining open and respectful communication with families. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel confident, motivated, and capable of progressing at their own pace.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to the needs of elementary students learning Spanish. I focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing, vocabulary, and oral expression through clear explanations and guided practice.

Each lesson follows a simple and effective structure: a short review of previous concepts, introduction of new material using examples, interactive practice activities, and a brief assessment to ensure understanding. I adapt the pace of each class to the student’s level, helping them feel confident and motivated.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my strong academic background combined with extensive experience working with children in primary education. I prioritize patience, consistency, and communication with families to support each child’s progress.

My lessons are designed for elementary school students (grades 1–5), including bilingual learners, Spanish language learners, and children who need structured academic support in Spanish.
