About Katarina

I have been teaching both formally and informally for the past six years; for the past two years, I taught English Language Arts in a public school to 6th graders (11- and 12-year-olds), and throughout the entire past six years I have been teaching English and foreign language to children and adults alike.

I am ready to tutor your student in English or English as a Foreign Language, depending on your needs. Thank you for your consideration.

About the lesson

*I currently have openings available between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. EST (UTC - 5), Mondays through Thursdays.*

My priority in teaching is to foster a love in the student for the subject where they may not have had one to begin with. My lessons are adapted to the student; some may need more focus to be on reading and speaking, while others might benefit more from practice in writing, phonics, or vocabulary.

I have current clients ranging in age from 3 years old to nearing retirement. Most of my students come to me for help with basic reading, writing, grammar, or speaking skills, but I also tutor in more technical areas such as proofreading essays and ESL for advanced or adult speakers.
