About Aarani
I am currently completing my Honors Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, with 6+ years of professional experience working in childcare and classrooms. I specialize in early reading and writing development for Kindergarten and Grade 1 students, using fun, age-appropriate strategies that align with the Ontario Language Curriculum. Every session is tailored to the child's needs and learning style. I also ensure that proper communication about the student's progress is made with parents. I take my role seriously, arriving prepared, organized, and respectful of your time and your child's needs. My goal is to build trust while helping your child succeed in a positive and supportive way. Note: Tutoring will start on September 26, 2025, and will be held on weekends only. May change based on schedule.

As a current early childhood assistant with experience working in TDSB classrooms and a student in Child Development myself, I am capable and overall happy to teach children, ensuring they enjoy learning and continue their essential development.
Notes on my tutoring style:
- Follow and create lessons based on the Ontario curriculum plan
- Follows the children's way of preferring learning
- Include fun mini projects such as creating storybooks, puppet shows, and word collages.
- Reminder, this is for kindergarten to grade 1 lessons only. Other grades may be added in the future.
*NOTE: Location still to be determined. Most likely in a public area such as a library and a community centre.
