About Anna
I am a PhD graduate with degrees from Oxford University and the University of St Andrews. I love to read and think about books, and I love the way that the study of English encompasses so many issues about the way the world works. I have extensive experience of tutoring and I also work in Hull primary schools as an Violin and Early Years Music teacher.

I'm an experienced, dynamic and motivating tutor with some new availability for online lessons. I can help support your family through the educational challenges of the period of school closure, through online individual, group or sibling lessons, setting and marking work, and supporting children in adventurous and challenging reading. My main subjects are English literature and music, but I can provide support in a range of subjects across the curriculum, including university applications and interview preparation. Whether you want somebody to sing with your 4 year old for 20 minutes, to set and remotely supervise a morning of creative writing activity, or inspire a love of reading in your child, do get in touch and we can discuss how I can help!

£35 for 1 hour
£20 for 30 minutes
£15 for 20 minutes
Lessons must be paid for at the time of booking, and can usually be rescheduled with more than 24 hours notice, if I have time in my schedule. If you would like to guarantee a weekly slot, lessons are payable as a recurring monthly payment in advance.
