About Jessica
After completing my degree I would love to go on to do a PGCE to enable me to become a primary school teacher. I have always had a passion for teaching and learning and I'd love to share that with others. One of my biggest interests is reading literature including classics to all sorts of other categories. I think that I have a good way of making learning fun without it being too strict and rigid as I am still a student myself I understand how boring and tricky learning certain things can be, there will always be a better and more fun way of learning all the things we need to know!

I have a real passion for English as a subject, having done it for my GCSEs and my A-levels and having it as an avid interest of mine. I have recently completed my A-levels so I feel I have current knowledge and ideas of what works to teach older students (GCSE and A-level). I have also spent the past two years in a paid capacity working and teaching small groups at a primary school in various areas including English and reading. I understand that we can't always understand and agree with certain styles of teaching which we may be receiving in the classroom and often a one-on-one can help us understand so much better. I have lots of experience with the subject with me previously passing my A-levels and with me working with younger children regularly. I have passed my DBS and all of my safeguarding certificates enabling me to safely work around younger people. I would be open to tutoring any of these age groups. The length and duration of a lesson depends on what you are looking for, I am open to different lengths of time.
