About Vassia
I am Vassia, I'm 22 years old and last year I graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in English Language and Literature. I am currently working as a reading mentor in a high school, helping students to improve their reading and comprehension in preparation for their GCSE's. I am extremely passionate about this subject and I'm simply not ready to leave it behind! This is why I'm excited to be able to tutor other students and encourage them to develop their literacy skills and enjoy reading.

Hello, I am Vassia and last year I graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in English Language and Literature. I am currently working as a reading mentor in a high school, helping students to improve their literacy skills in preparation for GCSEs. Moreover, I have experience working as an online English tutor for high school students following a school curriculum. I am offering online English Literature tutoring to all levels as well as providing help with university and Oxbridge applications.
Due to my extensive study of literature spanning texts from the 8th to the 21st century, I am able to provide tutoring for any period. Lessons will typically be an hour long and I invite students to come to me with texts they want to study and I will guide them to develop their close reading skills by analysing the text in detail together. When applicable, students can tell me the name of their examination board and I will tailor my tutoring to meet that specific criteria.
Throughout University, I have often returned to my college to talk to students who are considering applying to Oxbridge. I have offered advice to prospective students regarding personal statements, ELAT exams, and the Oxford interview process.
