About Molly
I am a 3rd year undergraduate reading Classics at the University of Oxford, Magdalen College. I was awarded a high First class in my Honours Moderations, as well as the Anne Shaw Scholarship, the Edmund Sutton Book Prize for outstanding achievement, and the Simon Perrot Oration Prize for achievement in Latin prose composition. At school I achieved 5 A*s at A level, including Latin and Classical Greek, as well as 12 grade 9s at GCSE.
I am friendly, enthusiastic, and above all passionate about enlivening the study of the ancient world and its beautiful languages, which are all but dead!

I have been tutoring for 3 years, helping students with Latin and Greek to GCSE and A Level. I have an intimate understanding of both syllabi, having achieved grade 9 in both GCSEs and an A* in both A levels, with full marks in several papers. At school, I found that lessons alone failed to give me a comprehensive grasp of the syntax and grammar of the languages, so as a tutor I use a wealth of resources to help students with conjugation, declension, and constructions. With this firm foundation, tricky passages soon become an enjoyable and rewarding rather than daunting challenge.
