About Phoebe
I am currently studying English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford and I'm really keen to help students achieve their full potential. I have two years experience tutoring privately and have seen some fantastic results! I recently gained an A* in my English Literature and Politics A-Level, so the knowledge is still very fresh in my head.

My teaching style is very flexible. I'm happy for the student to select specific topics or areas that they would like to improve on, but can also create tailored lesson plans for each student. I have lots of exam and revision techniques I can suggest, and will draw on my own (tried and tested) revision materials which I am happy to share with you if they're relevant to your syllabus. I'm also happy to provide a session focused on university applications if that's something that would be of interest.

Details
The first tutorial will lay the groundwork for future sessions and enable me to learn about the student's strengths and areas for improvement. It is therefore a free half an hour meeting, also giving the student a chance to get to know me.
For GCSE English Language or Literature: £18 p/h
For A Level English Literature or Government and Politics: £20 p/h
University/Oxbridge Application Advice and Support: £20 per one hour consultation; £25 for one consultation + feedback on the next personal statement draft
No cancellation policy, however, as much notice as possible is appreciated.
