About Gianluca

I'm Gianluca, an Occupational Therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience working with children and families across Italy, Saudi Arabia, and Australia.

I currently work as a Senior Pediatric Occupational Therapist, supporting children with autism, ADHD, behavioral challenges, sensory processing difficulties, and learning disabilities such as dyscalculia and dyslexia. I hold two degrees—a BSc in Occupational Therapy and a BSc in Cognitive Science/Psychology—which gives me a strong foundation in both clinical practice and child development.

Throughout my career, I have worked in hospitals, clinics, schools, and family homes. I have extensive experience mentoring students, new graduates, and junior therapists. However, some of the most meaningful work I do is with parents—helping them understand their child's behavior and providing practical strategies that work in real-life settings.

I have worked with hundreds of families from diverse backgrounds, so I understand that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Every child is different, and every family is different. My approach is to listen carefully, assess the situation, and develop practical solutions that fit your unique circumstances.

About the lesson

About My Lessons

My sessions are for parents and caregivers who want practical, real-life strategies to support their child—not just theory. Whether your child has autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, or behavioural challenges, I'll help you understand what's really going on and what you can actually do about it.

How it works:

We start by talking through your specific situation—your child's strengths, the behaviours or challenges you're struggling with, and what your daily routine looks like at home. From there, I build a plan around your family, not a textbook.

What we'll cover:

Understanding your child's sensory needs and why certain behaviours happen

Practical strategies for meltdowns, transitions, and daily routines

Building independence in self-care, play, and learning

Communication strategies that reduce frustration for both of you

How to set up your home environment to support regulation and calm

School and learning support, including children with dyscalculia, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties

Format:

Sessions are online and typically run 45–60 minutes. You can book a one-off session for specific advice, or regular sessions if you want ongoing support. I'll give you clear, written takeaways after each session so you're not relying on memory alone.

My approach:

No judgment, no jargon. I've worked with hundreds of families across three countries, and I know every child is different. I'll meet you where you are, answer your questions honestly, and give you strategies you can start using the same day.
