Parkour is safe if you approach each task step by step. In my class we go over each movement from the ground up. We even learn ninja techniques that coincide with the curriculum to assist students with moves they struggle with. It also helps having a sensei that analyzes your strengths and weaknesses to customize the program to maximize your growth.
I've been a teacher for many years, for many ages, for many subjects. I have taught kindergartners, grade school students, college students, fire fighters and retirees different things like parkour, school subjects, musical instruments, STEM technologies, dance, cheer and more. I've been asked to teach at public schools, Boys and Girls Clubs, city events and colleges. I started out training in Germany and The Netherlands. I came to America in 2014 and in 5 years, I accomplished a lot, such as starting a Parkour Club with a college, becoming president of a civics organization, and eventually the Program Director of a non-profit youth organization. I got certified as a Parkour Instructor in Washington DC. I've worked as a teacher for every kind of student and have never met an insurmountable challenge. Try me!
