Hi, I'm Joseph and a fun fact about me is that I have read thousands of student essays over my career as a high school AP English Literature teacher and SAT Prep teacher. I have a passion for analyzing literature and more importantly for helping young minds uncover their greatest academic potentials. In addition to being a teacher, I am a published journalist and have professional essays that have been published in literary journals.

I am a NJ certified AP English Literature and Composition teacher at one of the most successful charter schools in the country. The students that I teach and lead consistently outperform both state and national averages on state tests, SAT/ACT, and AP exams.
Whether you're writing an essay, looking to resolve grammatical errors, analyzing poetry, unpacking the themes in a text, seeking to understand literary devices, need help editing a paper, or just uncertain how to approach those time-restricted multiple choice exams like the SAT or AP Exam, I am the tutor for you, as I have found success in tutoring in all.
