About Lili
Lili (she/her) is a literacy educator who loves to work with young people of all reading ages and abilities. She’s tutored Kindergarten-8th grade students in English and 7-8th graders in Math. Additionally, she’s taught acting for Kindergarten-12th graders with several theatre companies. She always strives to create an engaging, inclusive, and educational classroom environment. She is currently contracted as a Reading Tutor through BookNook and works for theaters throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.

Passionate and energetic literacy tutor with experience in virtual and in-person educational settings teaches English to Kindergarten-12th graders. As an educator and theatre artist, I aim to make sessions engaging and informative for all students! Each lesson involves a review of an important English Language skill and reading a book. For younger age groups (Kindergarten-8th graders), there tends to be a focus on phonological awareness and reading comprehension. Older age groups (6th graders and up) continue developing their reading comprehension skills and start focusing on their writing skills. I'm happy to tailor lessons to individual student needs.
