About Caryn
I'm passionate and creative. I bring my full self to English language teaching for over 20 years in New York City. In fact, the New York Times honored me as an ESOL Teacher of the Year, and the Literacy Assistance Center honored me with the NYC Literacy Recognition Award. Currently, I'm working with my students on a project where they learn English through their critical thinking and creativity . Check out the Brooklyn Museum's website on November 6.and address issues of the climate crisis. I also tutor students on these topics: grammar, sentence structure, writing, public speaking, basically, you name it, I can teach it and help you gain confidence and skills. You might like to know that I hold a masters in teaching ESOL from the New School in New York City, too.
