About Jayda

About Me: Hi, my name is Jayda, and I’m a dedicated educator with a passion for working with children. I’m a 24-year-old college student with a high school diploma and extensive experience in child supervision, education, and caregiving. I’ve worked at Sky Zone, ensuring the safety of kids, and served as a summer camp counselor at the YMCA, creating fun and educational experiences. Currently, I work full-time as a substitute teacher, helping students succeed academically while fostering a positive learning environment. Beyond my professional roles, I’ve also helped raise my nieces and nephews, further strengthening my patience, teaching skills, and ability to connect with children. I’m excited to bring my experience and enthusiasm to online tutoring, helping students build confidence and reach their academic goals. Let’s learn together

Warm-Up (5-10 min): Quick review of previous lessons through a fun activity (e.g., flashcards, song, or question of the day). 2. Introduction to New Topic (10-15 min): Introducing a concept with visuals, storytelling, or a relatable real-world example. 3. Guided Practice (15-20 min): Hands-on activities such as worksheets, games, or problem-solving exercises. 4. Independent Practice (10-15 min): Allowing students to apply the concept on their own with my guidance. 5. Review & Wrap-Up (5-10 min): Summarizing key points and a fun closing activity like a mini-quiz or discussion.
