About Nicolas

Bonjour! My name is Nicolas and I’m a native French speaker from Lyon. I hold a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in the healthcare industry, and I have over ten years of professional experience in project management, logistics, and journalism. I've been teaching French for the last 2 years, in-person and online, to classes and individual students. I’m passionate about languages and currently studying Indonesian and German—so I know what it takes to learn a new language, and how rewarding it can be. I bring patience, structure, and enthusiasm to every lesson. Whether you're a beginner or already advanced, I’ll meet you where you are and help you grow with confidence. Teaching is not just about grammar rules—it's about explaining the language in all its subtleties, the way native speakers use it daily. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals in French!

As a native French speaker who used to live in New York, I use both French and English in my daily life, which helps me clearly explain concepts and guide students through the challenges of language learning. I love learning new languages myself—I'm currently studying Indonesian and German—so I understand what it’s like to be in your shoes. My lessons are tailored to teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to advanced learners, and always adapted to your personal goals.

Whether you're studying French for school, work, travel, or simply for the love of the language, I’ll create a custom learning path just for you. I like to incorporate your interests and hobbies—we might use videos, texts, music, or podcasts depending on your preferences and learning style. My approach is friendly, flexible, and student-centered, with a focus on building confidence and making progress at your own pace.
