About Tom
I'm a University student, who hasn't been out of the secondary education system for too long - I know the struggles of secondary school! Aside from academia, I'm a road runner who participates in University competitions and I love to engage with the Running and Athletics society. My aim in tutoring is to show students that nailing the skills is 90% of the effort, with the memorisation coming second. You can do it!

Lessons are usually 1 hour long, which is the perfect time to explain the skills required to answer questions, as well as to gain and or firm up knowledge of content. The skills section of both A-Level and GCSE are crucial, with it being the hinge between a B grade and an A-A* grade. I am a History Undergraduate, on track to get a First Class Honours. I also achieved three A's in my A-Levels, as well as an A* (51/54) in EPQ on the history of third way socialism.
