About Chloe

I am a Certified Teacher and an Online Literacy Tutor. My vision for creating this inclusive space has stemmed from my desire to make a difference in education whilst allowing children to flourish in a way that is truly unique to them through tailored and individualised learning plans. I can adapt my plans for all students, with a strong focus on neurodiverse and home-school children.

With a First Class Honours degree in English Language and Linguistics (with my dissertation topic being on the language of children with autism), I further honed my skills through my Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Education and I have experience as a class teacher in grades throughout the primary years, secondary special needs school and online. I hold a valid Queensland Teacher Registration, Disability Worker Card, Level 3 TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate, First Aid certificate and a Working with Children Check (WWCC).

I'm dedicated to empowering young learners from all backgrounds and abilities, helping them reach their fullest potential. My passion for education inspires me to thrive and excel.

About the lesson

As a creative and compassionate individual, my lessons are tailored to create an exciting and bespoke experience for every student. Building a good relationship of mutual respect is most important to me. I strive to ensure that every student feels that they have a voice and feel supported.

A large part of my teaching experience is with children aged 5-12 and I thoroughly enjoy teaching children and helping them to grow and learn. .

My subject specialism is English and I hold a level 3 Teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) certificate too. I am competent in teaching children all subjects up to the age of 14.

My initial FREE lesson is used as a meet and greet/ assessment level to ensure the tutor - student match is the right one. Additionally, we will complete some activities to help me to assess your level of English. Following this, I create an individualised learning plan adapted and created just for you to give us an outline/ plan for future lessons - this ensures your personal learning goals are met.
