About Parmida
Hi! I’m Parmida — a Petroleum Engineering student at the University of Aberdeen with real teaching experience at both high school and university levels. I’m passionate about helping students grow in confidence and truly understand what they’re learning. My students describe me as patient, friendly and very clear in explanations. I always create a supportive and positive learning environment where every question is welcome. With my background in engineering and experience tutoring Maths, Algebra and English Reading, I make sure my lessons are well-structured, reliable and adapted to each student’s goals. Hi! I’m Parmida, a Petroleum Engineering student at the University of Aberdeen. I’ve taught both university and high school students, and I really enjoy helping others understand tricky topics in a simple way. My lessons are relaxed but focused — I always make sure students feel confident and supported. I explain things step by step, use real-life examples, and make learning fun and clear. Lessons usually last about an hour, and I adapt the pace to each student’s needs. I teach Maths, Algebra, and English Reading for school, GCSE and foundation-level students (or anyone who just wants to improve their skills!).
