About Grace
I’m a dedicated and passionate tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine love for English and literature. As a recent high school graduate with top results in English and currently studying English and Theatre Studies at the University of Melbourne, I bring both expertise and enthusiasm to every lesson. I believe that learning should be engaging and tailored to each student’s needs, and I’m committed to helping you build confidence, develop your skills, and achieve your academic goals. Beyond tutoring, I’m passionate about musical theater and modern plays, and I enjoy performing, reading, traveling, and cooking. These interests enrich my teaching by allowing me to connect literature and language to real-world creativity and experiences. I use a student-centered and supportive approach that focuses on building confidence and improving skills step-by-step. I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs, strengths, and goals, using a mix of discussion, practice exercises, and feedback to help students engage deeply with the material.
Typically, my lessons run for 60 minutes, allowing enough time to cover new content, practice skills, and review progress without overwhelming the student.
I am a recent NSW high school graduate with an ATAR over 90 and a Band 6 in English. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English and Theatre Studies at the University of Melbourne. Over the past six months, I have been working as an online tutor, helping high school students improve their English skills.
My lessons are designed for high school students, particularly those preparing for their HSC or looking to strengthen their understanding of English language and literature.
