About Maggie

I am 24 years old and am currently completing a degree in Child and Youth Care. I have extensive experience in reading and writing programs with children and youth of all ages, and I am currently completing a certification course to teach English as a second language to students around the world. On top of that, I also have experience working with children and youth in hospital settings, as well as working with children and youth who have disabilities both in their homes and in a school setting.

About the lesson

I believe in approaching any situation with students of any age from a strength based perspective. It is very important to me that I empower the people that I work with, and that I give them the tools they need to feel confident and independent. I guess you could say I am working myself out of a job!

Perfect! Maggy is absolutely amazing! She is so patient with my 8 year old, and always has fun lessons planned. He looks forward to working with her every week, and she is contributing so much into getting him up to grade level. Maggy has been an absolute blessing, and we are so grateful.
