About Navika

I am a university student based in Edenvale with a deep love for English, reading, and creative writing. My passion for language was sparked by wonderful teachers and a love for books, where stories bring imagination to life.

I know that English can feel hard and intimidating at first, but I believe it doesn't always have to be! I focus on Grade R–5 learners to help them build a strong, confident foundation. In a patient and warm environment, I break things down to make reading, phonics, and writing simple, clear, and fun.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to make English approachable, engaging, and enjoyable for young learners in Grade R–5. I focus on building a strong foundation in reading, phonics, basic writing, and vocabulary.

Having experienced the huge difference that passionate, encouraging teachers can make, I aim to create a gentle and supportive space where children feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and learn at their own comfortable pace. We work step-by-step to build their confidence, love for reading, and everyday language skills.

Availability:

Weekdays: Flexible afternoon slots
Weekends: Morning and afternoon slots available

(Note: I offer consistent weekly slots, with extra flexibility during specific weeks of the month.)

I highly recommend Navika as a tutor. As her boyfriend, I know her to be a caring, patient, and dedicated person who genuinely wants to help others learn and improve. She is a great communicator, approachable, and always willing to put in the effort to help someone understand something they find challenging. I believe she can create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace. If you are looking for someone who is friendly, understanding, and committed to helping you reach your goals, I would definitely recommend giving Navika a chance. I am confident that her positive attitude and dedication will make her a great choice for any student!
