About Dr maneesha

I am a medical professional driven by the belief that to master the future of medicine, we must first understand the hard-won victories of its past. My clinical background in [Your Specialty, e.g., Internal Medicine/Surgery] has always been fueled by a fascination with how medical 'certainties' evolve over time. This presentation is the result of my deep dive into the archives—from the monastic hospitals of the Dark Ages to the radical dissections of the Renaissance. My goal is to move beyond the textbook and share a narrative of medicine that is as much about human resilience and radical curiosity as it is about science, offering us all a fresh perspective on the privilege of practicing medicine today."

About the lesson

This class moves beyond dry dates to treat the history of medicine as a series of high-stakes "cold cases," challenging you to apply modern diagnostic reasoning to ancient medical mysteries. By analyzing the paradigm shifts from Galenic dogma to the anatomical revolution of the Renaissance, we will explore the professional humility and radical curiosity required to advance human healing, ensuring you leave not just with historical facts, but with a deeper, more inspired perspective on your own clinical practice.
