About Katie
Hello I’m Katie! I am 18 and from York. I am currently studying at Durham University. I tutored all throughout my time at 6th form, creating folders full of resources for the students who came to my sessions. These included past papers, essays I wrote during my GCSEs that attained full marks and “cheat sheets” on exam techniques. I know firsthand how stressful revising can be, so my aims for tutorials are for them to be as informal and encouraging as possible- there are no stupid questions!

I take into account my individual students learning styles to curate informal, encouraging sessions. Trained in both exam technique and critical thinking, I demonstrate the most efficient way to really nail GCSE English language. The first half of our sessions will look at exam technique, and the second we will apply this to a source. I know firsthand how stressful revising can be (I did half of 6th form during Covid!) so I’m always on hand to solve any worries you may have about the subject :)
