About Marina
I love teaching and genuinely enjoy seeing students understand things that once felt difficult. I like to systematise information and present it in a clear, structured way that makes learning easier and more rewarding. I also truly enjoy communicating with students — teaching is never one-sided; it’s how I continue learning myself. I believe good teaching is built on dialogue, patience, and mutual curiosity. I’m a very approachable and supportive person, and I want my students to feel comfortable asking any question, no matter how small. For me, teaching is about creating clarity, confidence, and genuine understanding.

I’m a PhD Candidate in History with experience teaching Politics and History seminars at the university level. I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Politics and offer tutoring from GCSE to Bachelor’s level. Because I’ve worked closely with students, I understand what they’re looking for. University lectures can sometimes feel abstract or overly academic — my goal is to bring clarity. I make complex ideas easy to understand and help students master essay writing by focusing on the essentials: clear arguments, strong evidence, and confident expression. There are no “stupid” questions in my lessons. I adapt each session to your needs, concerns, or specific tasks, ensuring you leave every class more confident and better equipped. A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes and combines discussion, explanation, and focused feedback.
