About Roxie
I'm Roxie. After leaving school with a GCSE in Art and a GNVQ in ICT, I undertook most of my education as an adult, starting at GCSE, moving onto A-Levels and working my way up through higher education to a fully funded PhD. I did this whilst having ADHD so I fully understand the struggles, the doubt, pressure and anxiety that education can cause. Alongside teaching academic subjects, I do my very best to instil confidence and self-belief in my students because that's the first step to reaching their full potential.

I take a personal approach to tutoring, creating individualised plans to help each of my students succeed in their own individual ways. I believe it is key to successful learning is time, repetition and patience. Every student learns at a different pace and it's important to respect that.
As a PhD candidate, I have studied English literature and language extensively, and taught at university-level as both a lecturer and seminar tutor at Nottingham Trent University.
My sessions are an hour long and cost £25 per session. All take place online.
