Ms. Selma was my IGCSE English Language teacher, and she played a significant role in my academic development. She consistently put in a great deal of effort to keep her students motivated and engaged, creating a positive and supportive learning environment in the classroom. Her dedication to teaching was evident in the time and care she invested in each of her students.

One of the most impactful aspects of her teaching was the individual attention she provided. She regularly gave me one-to-one feedback on my assignments, carefully explaining my strengths and pointing out areas for improvement in a constructive and encouraging manner. This personalized guidance helped me steadily build my language skills and gain confidence in my abilities.

Thanks to her support and effective teaching methods, I was able to achieve my target result in English. Ms. Selma is not only encouraging but also highly adaptable; she is able to modify her teaching approaches to suit the needs of each student, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

Mrs. Karayalcin was my English teacher for many years, including during my GCSEs. She is a patient and supportive teacher who always encourages her students to do their best. Her lessons are engaging and easy to follow, and she explains even difficult topics clearly.
She is also very approachable and always willing to help when needed. Her communication skills, organization, and genuine care for her students make her an excellent teacher. I am confident she will continue to have as positive an impact on her future students as she had on me.

Ms Karayalcin was my English teacher for a couple of years, during which time she prepared my class for the Cambridge IGCSE First Language English exam. With her guidance, I achieved the highest mark in Cyprus and was awarded the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award. There is no doubt that her teaching played a significant role in this result; Ms Karayalcin is one of the few teachers I’ve seen who genuinely cares about all her students. She always kept us motivated, giving us feedback and taking the time to help each of us improve. Her lessons were always engaging and a little different each day, which kept me interested, and I always felt comfortable participating, asking questions, and even making mistakes. I am very grateful to have been taught by her, and I’m confident that she will continue to have a positive impact on her students.
