About Jessica

I'm passionate about sharing my love of learning, planning, and helping you reach your goals. I want to work with you to reach your goals and achieve your potential. I want to be the tutor I needed as a kid - I discovered my learning style at university and wish I'd had someone to help me earlier on. This is what I want to provide for you. My goal is to be a support, a safe place to ask questions and manage the overwhelm that comes with school/uni. Every student is unique and has the capacity to excel - I want to help you get there.

About the lesson

Lessons: - 1-hour lessons - First session establishes goals and learning style. We collaborate to make a plan so the lessons are catered to your needs. - Focus on confidence and practical skills - Grammar, spelling - Text analysis - Essays - Planning/organization/motivation - NCEA 1-3, IB, Cambridge. Editing of longer university work such as theses and dissertations.

Me: - History PhD, undergrad double major History and English - MA in Creative Writing - 7 years experience. - Level 7 online course on Learning Difficulties and Teaching, 2019 -
