I am a friendly, adaptable and experienced instructor with a strong professional background in literary and cultural studies, as well as academic and creative writing. I bring over ten years of teaching experience to the classroom, in addition to a firm command of academic methods and practices. With over ten years' experience teaching language, literature and cultural studies up to the post-graduate level, I am well prepared to tailor my lessons to your individual needs. Whether you are looking for additional support to help you excel in an existing course, or you are in search of an entirely new curriculum, I am able to draw on a wide range of classroom experience and scholarly expertise to assist you in reaching your goals.
Though I am experienced in teaching a variety of general education, writing and literature courses at university level, I can offer specialised tuition in Race, Gender & Sexuality Studies, Postcolonial Studies and World Literatures. Our methods will vary depending on the subject and objectives of your study, but all my lessons emphasise personal and cultural engagement.
