About Vankshita
I am a graduate of a double major degree in Physics and Chemistry from Durham University, UK. I have been teaching high school students in London for the past three years; I really enjoy teaching a subject I love and instilling an excitement for it in my students. I have just moved to LA to pursue a career in film (I’m studying for a Master’s at USC) but would really like to stay connected to science through tutoring.

I first spend time discussing with students what their problems or weak spots are, and then base my classes around this. I start at the concepts — making sure students are able to answer questions based on how topics are derived rather than by memorising. I want to give a broad understanding of how science works and teach the scientific method which can then be applicable to most situations. I hope to reduce the fear around science and maths and make it seem approachable, and fun even!
