About Jade
I am a piano tutor with 11 years of experience, holding a B.Mus in Music Education and Keyboard Ensemble Studies. My passion for piano began with its ability to bring people together through harmony, rhythm, and shared musical energy. Over the years, I have taught students of all ages, helping them develop confidence from their first notes to ensemble performances. I believe piano learning should feel joyful, supportive, and deeply motivating.
I specialize in building musical fluency through strong reading skills, rhythm training, and collaborative playing. My lessons often include duets, ensemble-style keyboard roles, and performance confidence-building exercises. Students learn not only technique, but also how to listen, respond, and play musically with others. I provide feedback that encourages growth without pressure.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with piano through arranging, group music projects, and educational development. Teaching is fulfilling because I watch students become confident performers and creative musicians. My goal is to welcome learners into a space where music feels alive, social, and empowering. Piano becomes a lifelong source of joy and expression.

Piano learning becomes powerful when students feel musical from the very first lesson. In my teaching, I focus on building real fluency through finger independence, reading accuracy, rhythmic training, and expressive confidence. Students learn how to coordinate both hands naturally, develop steady timing, and understand music as a language rather than a set of mechanical movements. I incorporate real-time rhythm games, duet playing, and creative exercises so learners feel engaged and motivated. Each lesson balances structure with enjoyment, helping students progress steadily.
Lessons are personalized to student needs. Beginners start with posture, hand shape, basic note reading, and simple rhythm patterns. Intermediate learners develop stronger chord fluency, smoother hand coordination, faster reading, and improved dynamic control. Advanced students refine pedaling, tone shaping, ensemble collaboration, and performance preparation. I also encourage duet and group-style playing for learners who enjoy musical connection.
Piano study builds confidence beyond music. Students develop focus, emotional expression, and pride through consistent growth. My goal is to help learners feel comfortable playing with others, performing with joy, and expressing themselves freely. Each lesson becomes a step toward lifelong musical confidence and creativity.
