About Rich
I am a professional musician and teacher with over 15 years of experience performing and teaching saxophone, clarinet, and flute around the world, from Glastonbury Festival to Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. I love sharing the joy of music and helping students discover their own voice on their instrument. Teaching allows me to pass on not just technical skills, but also the excitement and creativity that made me fall in love with music in the first place. I believe the most important part of learning an instrument is finding the music that truly inspires the student. Whether that’s jazz, classical, pop, or film music, I tailor lessons so each learner can explore the styles and pieces they enjoy most. When students connect with music they love, practice feels natural, progress is quicker, and they develop not only solid skills but also a genuine passion for their instrument. My goal is to make lessons engaging, supportive, and enjoyable, so that playing saxophone, clarinet, or flute becomes a source of confidence and creativity for every student.
