About Justin
I'm a college student, so writing is the norm for me. But writing is not something I have only done academically, as I have spent years on a student news publication and spent over 5 years in competitive speech and debate, focusing on public forum. Long story short, I have a LOT of writing experience, and I know how to make it fun. I took numerous AP exams, achieving scores of 4 or 5 on APUSH, APLANG, APLIT, APGOV, AP STAT, and AP Seminar, with high scores on all writing-focused exams I have taken. I know the tricks for writing a great document-based question or free-response question, especially on the aforementioned exams. Additionally, I achieved a 750 on the writing portion of the SAT, which is in the 98th percentile, and an overall score in the 97th percentile. I have had volunteer positions and staff writing roles in online publications and non-profits.

I achieved high scores on AP Language and Composition and AP Literature and Composition, along with a 750 on the SAT writing portion. My skills are geared to high school students, but certainly can be applied to middle school students. You don't need to struggle with writing to reach out for help.
I focus on interactive teaching, which integrates aspects of the student's life and interests to actually make lessons fun. As a student myself (PoliSci/American University), I understand how artificial intelligence can not only be a tool, but can enable students to write as the best version of themselves.
AI is also a tool that should be embraced when used ethically, and it is a use I feel comfortable teaching. A typical lesson with me will be entirely focused around what is the most efficient use of the student's time.
While I certainly will proofread and help write essays when needed, my tutoring is not only geared to essay writing, and I can help with any assignments, short or long. It can be difficult to get started, and I have tips and tricks for defeating writers-block.
