My approach to tutoring is student-centered and tailored to each individual's learning style. I believe that understanding a student's strengths and weaknesses is crucial to helping them succeed. I utilise a variety of teaching methods to engage students and make the material both accessible and enjoyable. When taking A-Levels, my preferred learning material was essay plans based, I continue this to be the case speaking to younger years still in the program. I have tutored online students in the US, UK and Bahamas. My feedback has been amazing, particularly during COVID-19, with my organised zoom calls and exam preparation. My goal is to not only impart knowledge, but also to help students develop critical thinking skills and a love for learning.
In addition to my strong subject matter expertise, I have excellent communication skills and a patient and supportive teaching style. I understand that every student learns at their own pace and I am committed to working with each individual to help them reach their full potential. I am confident that my unique combination of academic knowledge and passion for teaching will make me an effective tutor in Geography, Politics, and Theology.
