About Jessica
My name is Jess and I am an 18-year-old psychology student from Bedfordshire.
I started studying psychology in 2019 and, thanks to an amazing teacher, developed a passion that has continued to university.
I want to help spread that passion and help you get the grades you deserve!
Sometimes, no matter how much you like your subject or your teacher, information just doesn’t sink in. However this is nothing to do with your skills, instead it’s most likely to do with teaching style, which is why I tailor my lessons to each pupil to ensure they get the best possible outcome from each session!

My psychology tutorials will be tailored to your individual needs. My goal is to provide a fun but focused set of tutorials that allow the pupil to improve their knowledge, but also develop skills needed to learn independently more effectively. I will also cover exam techniques and tips to ensure everything we learn can be used in the best way possible when you get to that exam hall!
All lessons will take place online at an agreed-upon time, and be about an hour in duration. I offer a one-hour free trial lesson in which we will get to know each other, talk about your individual learning style, pinpoint areas of difficulty and make a plan of action. It is important to use this session to decide if I am the right tutor for you!
Psychology has several exam boards and option subjects that are selected by each school, so I have listed the topics I have experience with - make sure I cover yours!!
GCSE Pearson Edexcel (development, memory, psychological problems, the brain and neuropsychology, social influence, research methods, criminal psychology, sleep and dreaming)
A-Level AQA (social influence, memory, attachment, psychopathology, approaches, biopsychology, research methods, issues and debates, relationships, schizophrenia, aggression)
I achieved 7x grade 9s at GCSE level (one of which was in psychology), and am predicted A-A* grades at A-Level (awaiting results in August). I have previous experience tutoring pupils of varied skill levels and ages, with one of my students progressing from a grade 6 to a grade 9 at GCSE level.
