About Deepika
I'm an English language teacher based in Chandigarh, with a background in journalism and editing at the Hindustan Times group and over 6 years of teaching experience at IMS and Jamboree. I help students build strong, confident English — reading, comprehension, vocabulary, and writing — and also prepare competitive-exam candidates (CAT, CLAT, IPMAT) for the verbal reasoning sections of these tests.
My approach treats language as a system, not a set of rules to memorize. Which means we master the basics of close reading by building vocabulary, grammar, figures of speech to understand how sentences and arguments are actually constructed. My classes are fun and interactive with periods of intense learning interspersed with moments marveling at how the placement of a word can change the entire meaning....
