About Maya
I graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics from UW and have 5 years of math tutoring experience in Seattle. As a former TA for multivariable calculus, I developed supplemental study guides and hosted review sessions. I hold a Washington State Secondary Math Teaching Credential and offer weekday and weekend time slots. Outside tutoring, I create math puzzle nights at local libraries to engage community learners in fun, applied problem solving.

My premier Math tutoring begins with diagnostic assessments in Arithmetic and Algebra before advancing to Geometry (Euclidean proofs, coordinate geometry) and single-variable Calculus (limits, derivatives, integrals). I integrate visual tools (Desmos, GeoGebra) and real-world contexts (budget modeling, environmental data analysis) to illustrate concepts. Each lesson includes collaborative problem solving and mini-assignments to reinforce Calculus and geometric reasoning.
