About Rebecca
I have a drama background and have always loved stories and creative writing. I used to teach drama workshops in school to get children excited about reading and writing. I really enjoy supporting learners to develop their own writing and build their confidence in spelling and grammar alongside their creative writing skills. I can support students to write in a range of styles and for different purposes.

I create fun and interesting writing tasks based on inspiring lesson hooks. I use writing models to show 'what a good one looks like' and do some live modelling with students with their creative input. My writing lessons are underpinned by grammar points on the national curriculum. These can be tailored to the learner based on their needs. I can also plan inspiring reading lessons developing the core comprehension skills. I aim to foster enthusiasm, creativity and engagement with literacy materials.
