About Sarah

Hi, my name is Sarah! I am a former Early Childhood Educator and a current ESL and English tutor. I have worked with children aged 2 years, to 16 years, as well as adults. I hold a CELTA certificate, which is a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I have experience working with students on their academic and creative writing and can help with any English exams that you may need assistance with. Additionally, I have worked with several students on English Language GCSE skills. These skills include comprehension, writer's craft, letter writing, Descriptive and Narrative essays, etc. I have a strong passion for teaching, and I am currently pursuing an additional qualification in Education, with a major in English Literature and History. I look forward to meeting and connecting with you!

About the lesson

Hi, my name is Sarah. I am a former Early Childhood Educator and a current ESL and English Private tutor. I hold a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) and I also have experience training students for their English language GCSEs. I believe in meeting students where their understanding of the content is and using scaffolding to bring them up to standard at their pace. A lesson with me would be engaging, effective, and most importantly: tailored to your exact needs. The duration of each lesson will be 60 minutes. My lessons would be best for Primary to GCSE-aged students. I look forward to meeting you!
