About Moya
I have a B.S. in Music Industry and Technology from Georgia State. My concentrations are in Audio Engineering, Classical Voice, Violin, and Piano. I am ProTools certified. I also use Logic, Bandlab, and Soundtrap. Currently, I teach audio engineering in Fulton County, Dekalb County, and Atlanta Public Schools to middle and high school students. I have played the piano since I was 8 (originally by ear) and I have been an independent artist since I was 12 years old (a lot of time to develop stage presence!) I was first chair violin for 7 years and have worked with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. I have also sung in a choir with Andrea Bocelli. My artist journey has landed me in modeling and runway opportunities as well. Therefore, providing lessons on Artist and Model development for castings, runway, and auditions to build your portfolio.

When it comes to teaching, I use a bunch of analogies, examples and hands-on learning styles. MUSIC MUST START WITH KNOWING THEORY! I like to quiz my students on material I hand out. I expect everyone to at least TRY. If you don't do anything, I cannot correct anything to help you grow. Violinists will learn different levels of classical music, sight reading, and ensemble techniques. I like to crack jokes and treat my students as friends. Learning doesn't have to be so cut and dry. I want to know you as a person and develop your skills for you!
