About Angela
I have 7 years of experience in private tutoring and some of my students have been with me for almost that entire time! Parents are always welcome to join or listen to our meetings and I often give parents an update after tutoring sessions. I like to tailor my lessons to each student by working in both their strengths and weaknesses. For reading comprehension, I like to analyze sections closely so that students get a feel for the language. For social studies, I enjoy giving students a chance to explore a bit in their own so that we can discuss a topic more fully. In Latin, I take a more classical approach with an emphasis on vocabulary and grammar because my goal is to have students reading the original writers like Caesar, Vergil, or Ovid.
