About Fatima
Hi, I’m Fatima! With a background in film and a love for storytelling, I make writing fun and creative through prompts, brainstorming, and step-by-step support. Outside of teaching, you’ll usually find me café hopping, planning whimsical parties, or sketching in my backyard—all things that inspire the creativity I bring into my lessons.

Teaching Methodology & Techniques
With my background in film and storytelling, I see writing as more than just an academic skill—it’s about creating worlds, characters, and ideas that feel alive. I bring this perspective into my lessons by using fun prompts, brainstorming games, and story-building activities to help students unlock their creativity while strengthening structure and clarity. Even essay writing becomes more engaging when students learn to think like storytellers—building strong beginnings, compelling arguments, and satisfying conclusions.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Creative Warm-up (5–10 min): A quick writing or imagination prompt (e.g., “What would your morning look like if you lived on Mars?”).
Skill Focus (20–25 min): Exploring a writing technique—like thesis-building, paragraph flow, or descriptive writing—through examples from stories, films, or articles.
Guided Practice (15–20 min): Students apply the skill in a fun exercise (e.g., drafting a story scene, rewriting an essay paragraph with stronger imagery).
Wrap-up (5–10 min): We share, reflect, and set a creative challenge for next time.
What Sets Me Apart
I blend academic writing skills with storytelling techniques from my film experience, making lessons both practical and inspiring.
I turn writing into a creative process, not just a task—students learn to think outside the box while still mastering structure.
I encourage self-expression, helping students find their unique “voice” in both essays and stories.
